In May 2016, MTC along with its sister regional agencies, the Association of Bay Area Governments and the Bay Area Air Quality Management District, moved into a renovated eight-story building in San Francisco’s Rincon Hill neighborhood. The Bay Area Metro Center, as the facility has been named, includes ample public spaces such as an auditorium and board room, a resource center, a cafe and on-site bicycle parking that will serve the community.
